Allison Love

Allison joins Global Justice Center as a Legal Fellow with support from Columbia Law School’s David W. Leebron Human Rights Fellowship. She holds a B.A in Philosophy from Yale-NUS College in Singapore and J.D. from Columbia Law School, with a certificate of recognition from the Parker School of Foreign and Comparative Law. Committed to advancing gender justice through international law, Allison has previously supported the research of the Gender Advisor for the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel. She spent her second summer in law school in The Gambia, where she worked with a women and victim-led NGO to support women’s participation in The Gambia’s transitional justice processes. Allison has additionally served as the Executive Editor of the Columbia Journal of Gender and Law and, through participation in the Smith Family Human Rights Clinic, contributed to efforts to advance accountability for war crimes and human rights abuses in Yemen before the UN Human Rights Council.
