Alice Muzzi

Alice Muzzi joins Global Justice Center as a Legal Fellow. She is a multilingual lawyer specializing in international human rights law and gender justice, admitted in New York and Brazil. 

Alice completed her LL.M. at Duke University School of Law, where she focused on state accountability and anti-trafficking efforts, and co-authored a UN report on trafficking in persons and the rights of persons with disabilities presented at COSP 18. Previously, she earned her Law degree from Faculdade de Direito Milton Campos, in Brazil.

At Duke, Alice was a member of the International Human Rights Clinic, a volunteer at the Human Rights Pro Bono Project, and an LL.M. Representative at the Women Law Students Association. In addition to the Fellowship, she is currently interning with the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights’ Public Policy team and volunteers on the Committee on Combating Violence Against Women at Grupo Mulheres do Brasil.
