Lori Adelman

Lori Adelman is an executive leader, mediamaker, and advocate with nearly two decades of experience advancing global racial, gender, and reproductive justice. Most recently, she served as Executive Director of Planned Parenthood Global, leading the organization’s international work during a period of heightened political scrutiny and launching the Brave Awards to support frontline organizations facing opposition worldwide.

As Vice President of Influence and Engagement at Global Fund for Women, Lori directed communications and partnerships strategy for the world’s largest philanthropic fund dedicated to gender justice. She led initiatives including the organization’s first Artist Changemaker program and System Reboot, a campaign to support feminist technology innovators across the Global South and East. Earlier in her career, she served as Director of Youth Engagement at Women Deliver, connecting more than 700 young advocates with resources to amplify their impact and coordinating the youth presence at the 2019 Women Deliver Conference. 

A pioneering voice in feminist media, Lori co-led Feministing.com, a widely celebrated digital platform for diverse feminist perspectives. She co-hosts the Cringewatchers podcast and has contributed to The New York Times and The Guardian, among others. Recognized by The Root 100 and Forbes 30 Under 30, she brings extensive experience in governance, strategic growth, and people-centered organizational change. Lori holds a BA from Harvard University and lives in the Bronx with her family.
